Suspended.

What the heck, Twitter?

On January 2nd, 2022, our @brawlhouseNA twitter account was wrongfully suspended by an automated system. Our appeal to this suspension was met with another automated system stating that the suspension would be "permanent" and would not available for reconsideration.

We get it. Twitter has undergone many changes over the last few months and essentially has all users walking through the scaffolding at this point. The staff was reduced to ~2,000 employees from ~7,500 over the course of 3 months, and services are being modified and/or removed to save on costs.

Despite its flaws, Twitter is still the leading discoverable social platform for Brawl Esports and gaming conversations in general. We have decided to continue our ventures on twitter under the belief that our account(s) are in compliance with the spirit of the Twitter rules and that the platform will continue to be worthwhile.

The Bailout

Growing the original Brawl House was a slow process. We didn't have a preexisting following, and we seldom used giveaways to boost our growth. Getting back to our previous following seemed nearly impossible until...

A friend who used to run @esports_news_bs donated the account for our cause. Thanks to @fresh1302, Brawl House will not have to restart at absolute ground zero on Twitter. The account has sat unused since the 2021 championships, as its efforts merged into the @OfficialBSEN project.

The old @esports_new_bs account will be transformed into the new Brawl House account under the handle @brawlhouseorg.

Thanks again to Fresh for helping us out. We're in this community together.
